How to get to Port Aventura
Getting there
One hour from Barcelona and ten minutes from Reus Airport (Tarragona), with its own train station and direct access from the AP-7 motorway.
So you see it doesn't matter where you are... PortAventura is right on your doorstep.
Just choose how you want to get here and we'll give you all the information you need including directions, timetables and telephone numbers to ensure you won't get lost along the way.
By car
PortAventura is located at exit 35 of the AP-7 or Autopista del Mediterráneo (European Route E-15).
- From La Jonquera or the south of Spain, take the AP-7.
- If you are coming from Barcelona or El Vendrell, you can join the AP-7 directly from the C-32,.
- If you are travelling from the Basque Country or Zaragoza, you can pick up the AP-7 from the AP-2.
You can also use the following national roads:

- T-11 Tarragona-Teruel
- N-340 Barcelona-Valencia

By car
If you are travelling by train, RENFE or the AVE offer two practical alternatives:
RENFE
PortAventura has its own train station which can be reached from other mainline stations.

AVE
The high speed train runs from Madrid, Guadalajara, Calatayud, Zaragoza and Lleida to Camp de Tarragona station*. From there you can take the Ràpid Tren service to PortAventura.

Ràpid Tren (bus)
- Price per person: €4.10 for adults. Free for children between 0 and 3.**
- Departure times: the departure times for the buses are coordinated with the arrival and departure times of the trains.

By plane
If you arrive by air, three airports will allow you to land very close to PortAventura.
Reus airport
PortAventura is located just 15 minutes from the Reus airport, where a range of transport services are offered: bus, taxi or car hire. At Europcar you can take advantage of the special rates that PortAventura has organised for you.

Barcelona airport
There are also a variety of options (bus, Europcar car hire) for those that arrive at the Barcelona Prat Airport.
A good option is to catch the regular Autocars Plana bus* that offers a transport service directly to the PortAventura hotels without advanced booking. The bus leaves from Terminal B in front of the Joan Miró mural.

Another option is to take the Ràpid Aeroport* service, which runs buses to the PortAventura Hotels. Book in advance www.alsa.es.
The Ràpid Aeroport also leaves from Terminal B, just in front of the Joan Miró mural.
If you prefer to arrive by car, you can benefit from the special rates for PortAventura clients offered by Europcar.
* This service is not offered by PortAventura.
Girona airport
Girona is 2 hours by car from PortAventura. It is another good way to get here. You will find a Europcar office at the airport. Ask for the special rates for PortAventura visitors. |
